I have mine behind the passenger seat, so it's easier for me to open and/or read the pressure gauge. Just pull the carpet up and drill your pilot holes for the bottle clamps and your large hole for the blow down tube. There isn't much chance of hitting anything, but always double-check where you are drilling. I reversed the clamps and had the high one in the well and the low one on the "hump" (you'll see) so that the bottle is at approx 30 degree angle. Wish I had some pics, but e-mail me if you have questions.
I was also thinking about doing it like that but I think I might just go the hidden route and put it in the spare tire well. It would be my luck that I get pulled over and get in trouble for having nitrous.

Technically, a shop should not fill your bottle unless you show them the permit... some check, some don't. At Island Dragway, for example, tech will ask for you nitrous permit.

You also need to be aware that in NJ you need a "Permit to Handle Nitrous Oxide", or you can be subject to a fine and jail time under the dangerous substance control laws. The permit is free, from the state Dept. of Health and Senior Services. I can give you the info if you need it.

Thanks man, I think that I will definately need that info from you, like I said it would be my luck. If it's free then what is the permit there for anyway? You would think that they would be trying to make money off of it, like everything else here in jersey!
Is there any qualifications or do you just fill out a form and they just give it to you?-Rick
