SES after install of NX kit

Well, it's a 94 z28 M6

We installed the kit and then he has a SES light. He does not have a aftermarket ignition , so we had to tap the Tach wire on the drivers side (near the fuel rail) would this cause the SEs due to Lower voltage?

thanks!

That shouldnt cause an ses light....I did the same thing except I cam right off the pin at the pcm. Did you try disconnecting the battery to reset the pcm to see if it goes away ? Double check the areas you worked in to see if you knocked any connectors or vacume lines loose.
