Selenoid Mounting?

Is it ok to mount your selenoids a couple inches above your intake manifold off the fuel rail bolts? I didnt know if they would get to hot or if heat even effects the selenoids?

Thanks,
Tom

I had mine mounted there for 3-4 years...we also have a custom mount that uses the front two bolts.

Dont wanna hijack the thread but, Ray, how will those mounts work with an STB on there? I am pulling off my intake to fix the infamous leak and going to be painting it and am seeing if I cant mount the solenoids in a different way.

you might run into clearence issue with the STB if you use the fuel rail mount...it will depend on the height of the STB off the manifold....but the TB mount should work fine
