is it safe to run a bigger jet?

if i run a 100 shot of nitrous and the 150 for the gas is it safer or either way does the same thing?

That's a pretty rich setup, and would generate less power than a properly tuned set of jets. So I guess the answer is that it's safer for the engine, since there's less power. But you'd probably be better off dropping both jets down in a proper ratio, rather than just adding more fuel if you want less power.

Too much fuel can actually be just as harmful as not enough. With excess fuel, its possible for the fuel to get trapped under the piston ringland, and then proceed to ignite, effectively breaking the ringland (which is notably the weakest point in many stock Hypereutectic pistons). Running a slightly larger fuel jet probably wouldn't cause this sort of problem, but FYI, the factory suggested Settings tend to be plenty rich/safe on their own. No need to add even more fuel to an already slightly rich mixture.

Not sure what ya mean? All I was saying was run the system at its recommended jettings and you'll be fine.
