what happens? is it safe to run a pass on N2O if you dont have enough to last until you let off and shut it off or what? thanks

Dry shot won't hurt anything. Wet shot, it will continue to dump fuel, and foul your plugs.

I had that happen a couple of times. I just changed the angle of my bottle to ensure the siphon tube is pointed down and back
