Right jets for 150 shot?

I searched and I think my fuel jetting of .038 might be too rich.

I have a N.O.S. Wet kit that uses a single fogger nozzle about 4-5 inches from the throttle body. N.O.S. tech told me that the jetting for the 150 shot would be 62N/38F.

The set up I made uses power shot solenoids for both fuel and nitrous.

Does this fuel jetting sound too rich. I have heard of people with NX using a 62N/35F and still reporting the car running rich.

Also as a side note I have been using flare jets with my fogger nozzle, is this correct, I have read about funnel jets and possibly using sapphire jets???

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm not too sure about the N.O.S jetting but on my Nitrous Works kit the tune-up for the 150 shot on my car is:

70/Nitrous & 35/Fuel

Thanks for the reply, I will just have to go with N.O.S. tech recommends until I can get the car on a dyno.

Thanks.

Well I have these written down in my notebook let me just look them up.

Dave Mills' webpage (http://www.go-fast.org/z28/) lists a 67N 35F resulting him 152hp 200ft/lbs of tq.

Keith Locklier's page (http://www.ws6.com) lists a 62N 37F resulting in 138hp.

Of course remember it can vary from car to car because of varying enviroments (fuel pressure etc).

Edit: Doh, how could I forget my own results ;p

I ran Dave's 67N 35F with lower than optimal bottle pressure I think (just filled the bottle, but it was near full...probably only one run if that) and netted 140hp.

I'll try the 63N/37F jetting first since it is closest to what N.O.S. recommends.

Thanks for the reply.
