Is remote bottle opener really worth it?
the only real practical use i could think of is that if your Nitrous solinoid sticks you can shut off the bottle, but if it sticks and you let off the throttle it's probably to late anyway, or if your a street racer you could hide the system and open it without poppin the trunk..... Other than that no real use for it, unless your just lazy....
yea, thats what i was thinking. one question. how long can the bottle stay open for..........lets say im at the track. Should I open it in the staging lanes right before I run? Can it stay open if I run continuosly? I might sound dumb, I've just never used Nitrous before.
If you only use it at the track, you should be OK with no opener. It's just that you don't want that back pressue on the noids for hours at a time, FWIU it wears them out faster.
I like a remote opener for that extra passing power on the freeway

For me, it's not worth it. Unless I have had the heater on, I have very little bottle pressure and thus don't use the bottle. It doesn't seem very economical to spend the $175 or whatever price on it if I'm not going to get the right power I can achieve.
If I'm planning on doing some racing on during the weekend, I turn the heater and the bottle on.

Only worth it if you spray on the street. You are riding and a sweet car come up next to you to try to run but your bottle is closed, are you going to pull over to open it? If you only use the spray at the track it is better to just do it by hand.
