reducing sparkplug gap?

Is it nescessary to reduce your spark plug gag from .050 to .035-.040 to help stop ionization and added presure blowing the spark out when sparying nitrous? just a little hint i herd what you guys think YES OR NO

I think most people here are running .038-.042, maybe a rch more. You'll see ionzation inside the distibutor (opti), that's why gm vented the later ones.

plug gap

I've always had really good look with autolite 103's gapped at .045.stock motor has had about 45 bottles on it. No detonation and going strong,knock on wood!

Yea it's a good idea to close the gap up a bit. I'm running Autolite 103's also. I have the gap set at .040. No problems.
