I have an N.O.S. remote bottle opener that was given to me for free. The guy said it would not hold full pressure. The gauge before the solenoid would read about 300 lbs pressure if the bottle was open but the remote bottle opener was closed. He would hit the momentary switch and flash the valve to the open position and the pressure would rise to about 980psi.

Can I rebuild this thing, the way I would a solenoid, have any of you tried this or know of someone who has?
