This Really frustrates me....

Is there anyway to tell how big a line is and how big the fitting is? Such as a 3an or 4an line. I know there is a size difference, but any way to measure like it's diameter and be 100% sure with just common measuring devices.

And what is the difference between -3 and D-3 AN fittings?? Or are they the same. I need to know what size fuel line i have going to the MAF end from the solenoid, cause i need to get a shorter one.

The line from the fuel solenoid to the maff end is a -3 or also known as D3 amse thing. A -3 hose takes 7/16 wrench. A -4 takes a 9/16 wrench. I hope that helps.
