Post Question for LT1 ZEX Kit owners

I've been reading lots of positive posts about this kit. I have a few questions for current owners of LT1 Kits. First, did you change your injectors or are you doing ok with the stock injectors?
Second, if a solenoid goes out in the control box, can it be replaced or does the whole control box need replacing?
Third, are you using a device for spark retard or are you running stock timing?
Thanks.
Jim

First of all kit works awsome with stock injectors and timing. I had a 125 shot on my stock Z28 with no problems. I did go with a step colder on the plugs though. If the silinoid goes bad I beleive that the whole box needs replace but I never had any probs with mine and Is awsome looking kit with hardly anything too hard to hook up.
Stick with the zex!

Thanks for the info. Sounds like the kit I need. Thanks for the tip on the plugs. Can you tell me the part# of the plugs you use.
Thanks again.

I too am still using stock injectors with not problems at all. NGK TR6s or colder plug is highly recommended as I fried 3 plugs when I tried using stock heatrange. I am using all stock timing. I do have a adjustable timing ratard in the cockpit but it is not needed with any of the shots. Mine has been problem free for the whole 9 months Ive had it. I think the whole box would need replaced...but I never looked into it so who knows.
