purge in the hood

a buddy of mine has an '02 ws6 trans am and were tryin to figure out what would be the best way to route the lines so that the purge would come out of the "ram air". Anyway, any help and/or pics would be very appreciated for this install

If I ever install a nitrous kit on my WS6, it will definitely purge out the nostrils

that looks so sweet. i have a SS so i don't think that would be good on mine. if i was your friend i would do it between the wippers. i'm not sure where i am going to do mine. but i bet i will put it there.

Just thinking it through loigically - since no one seems to want to admit to having done it - You need to run a line from the nitrous solenoid to the cowl, then use a flexible line to connect from the cowl to the back edge of the hood, then run either a hard line or a flexible line to the front of the hood and the nostrils. If you want a stream out of each nostril, put a tee in the system and run a copper or brass tube to each nostril, with the ends flattened slightly to give you a "fan". How you attach all this stuff to the hood might be tricky, by there are some pretty strong "stick-on" clips that would probably hold it.

Once the the nitrous clears the purge solenoid, it is at a lower pressure, so you can use reinforced rubber tubing for the flex line. NOS also make a soft nylon tubing that they use for hooking up the nitrous to their NOSzle system. It doesn't look like it will hold the pressure, but it does.
