I recently changed my opti, because the car was missing and running like A$$. When I took the intake elbow off the silencer/resonator tube was filled with gas. It went all over me . I am thinking the fuel selenoid is bad maybe ? I've only used the nitrous once since I had it installed, so I doubt it was just from that one time. I haven't been able to see if the fuel selenoid was stuck open because I haven't put the car totally back together from the opti install yet.

Anyone have any thoughts on this, or any samiliar experiences ?

 

It soungs like the silinod may be leaking if you had alot of fuel in there with very little use. Also make sure your nozzle is not spraying down toward that opening.

Yep, happened to me before. It was a piece of trash stuck in the fuel solenoid.
