Plate system for LT1
Plate system for LT1
What plate systems are out there for my LT1? I would like to spray no more 200-250 i know it's not recomended to over 200 with a plate on an LT1 because of the intake design, But what about the edelbrock intake or what does it take to put a victor jr style intake on an LT1?
Thanks,
Patrick

NOS and Nitrous Works both have a spray bar style plate.
NOS

TNT has a plate that mount dual nozzles behind the TB
All of these design discharge the nitrous at the back of the intake which will adversely affect distribution on large shots.
We have the only plate that sprays accross the airflow, which allows the natural induction to pull the mixture in.

I would consider 2-250 the limit to the LTx style manifold, if you are spraying from the front of the intake. To convert to the SBC style single plane you will either convert the heads or the intake to accept the correct bolt pattern. We make an elboe for the Vic-JR intake and an LT1 TB.

We can plumb the intake with a spray bar for the nitrous.

We can get you everything pictured....but we do not do any machine work.
You would need to find a shop to handle the bolt pattern conversion. I would reccomend converting the heads to accept the SBC pattern instead of converting the manifold.
