A 103 is pretty cool!
Sounds like you are actually a little rich. What's you bottle pressure at the time?
Some race gas also doens't have a very good specific gravity to be used with nitrous (like VP Red for instance).
How much are you spraying?
I'd just go with the TR6's stocking number 4177 and gap them at .032 to start. Go a little tighter if you still have problems.
Autolites are junk as far as I'm concerned. Might as well put in some Motorcrap plugs.
I'm sure you have a NAPA somewhere close. They sell them and can order them if not in stock.

Good luck

bottle psi. is around 1000 and i tried two different bottles the other was less. im only spraying 125 for now.but plan on increasing it. i didnt have this problem before the rebiuld but im running close to 11.5 cmp. with a 383 now. their may be a napa store somewhere around here but i dont know of one. the 103s really helped a bunch compared to stock.

You want your bottle pressure at 950psi with a NX kit.
Don't know what kit you have.
Purge the pressure down before the run.
As for the auotlites.
I tried them once and the car wouldn't even start. I've had two other friends have the same problem and have heard of at least three other racers around here that haven't had luck with the either.
I had them all try NGK and they love them and will never go back, just like me.
I think the 103's though are too cold for just a 125 shot. You only want to go down one heat range for a small shot like that.
They might not be lighting the mixture on the top-end. That's what I'm getting at.
Really if you are going to spray more than say 200 horse I'd go with the R series plugs, from NGK.
Call them and ask for John (248)926-6900 Tell him you need a -7 R series plug for your motor, to replace your TR5's. If he's not there someone should be able to help you. Make sure you get the stocking number, that's what NAPA will need.
You also didn't mention your gap size.

Good luck,
Dave Brown
