Thumbs up The ole' plug question........

awrighty...I have done ALOT of searchiung and was just needing a little input on these plugs. First off...I had the stock AC r45ts plugs gapped at .35..had some problems(detonation and foul out) and decided on the AC r42t. Does this sound like a smart move to make??? I would probably gap them at .35, but I have read that Nitrous=colder plug.

Any input will be great!!! Have not made purchase yet....that will be in the morning.

Detonation isnt the result of the plug you are using, or at least shouldnt be. How much nitrous you spraying? If its less then 150, then realistically, the stock plug would be fine. If you want to change plugs, then just get a plug with a non extended tip. IF you run too cold of a plug, it will just foul really easily, and thats not going to do you any good. You really only need to go to a colder plug, when you start running alot of compression, and typically over 200 shot.
