I have a pretty stock 01 SS, i am thinking about runnign a small wetshot (50-75) on it...Right now im doing headers/ypipe and electronic cut outs, and a short shifter, then probably gears and power programming.....what else should i replce before running any n20?? also, what systems should i look at? i will be mounting the bottle in the spare/jack space of the car (Assuming i do get a system) thanks

 

Here is 2 things u need to think about before spraying your car.
1. Always use a nitrous plug in a sprayed car. NGK tr6 plugs are a popular choice here on the boards. Never use a platinum plug with nitrous bc it has a tendency to blow the puck off the end and that is not something u want floating around in your cylinder.
2. I would look more into using the power programmer with nitrous. It adds power by advancing the timing which is the exact opposite of what needs to be done for nitrous. Power programmers are junk for z28's, I would look into getting a custom tune from PCMforless or Madz28.com If u wanted the tune plus the nitrous then MSD makes an ignition with a built in timing retard that can be turned on when the nitrous is used.
