Im so confused about N20!!!
Im so confused about N20!!!
I've just read a bunch of pages, and the thread that is up now about N20 basics. However, I am still completely confused. Basically I need someone to tell me what all is involved/what needs upgraded to build a completely reliable N20 system spraying a 100 shot.
I want to run a 100 shot, on a stock motor, with 15,000 origional miles.
I DONT want to blow it up cause the fuel pump dies, or the injectors cant handle it, or the rev limiter cuts FUEL.
So which brand set up should I go with? What safety switches and stuff would I need? And what other parts would I need to upgrade for a 100 shot? Im afraid the injectors or pump pr rev limiter will kill my engine.
Also, shouldnt I definatly run a N20 purge ?

You need to purchase a complete kit. If it was NX the part numbers are as follows:
20920-10 wet system with 10lb bottle http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Pages/GMStage1.htm
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Instructions/stage1.pdf
Genx-2 Accessory package with heater, nhra blow off fitting, fuel pressure safety switch, nitrous gauge.
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Pages/genX.htm
11107 remote opener ( not required but makes it easy to open and close bottle from the drive seat.
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Pages/Opener.htm
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Instructions/opener.pdf
18959 RPM window Switch.
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Instru...ndowswitch.pdf
You will also need 2 steps colder plugs. Go ahead and give your car a good old tune up. New fuel, oil, air filter. Install the new plugs. Make sure your plugs wires are good, if marginal replace. On 100hp your stock fuel pump should good, but if not the FPSS should catch it.
The engine needs to be in good working order.
I have inclosed some link that you can ready about the products listed hope it helps.

Re: Im so confused about N20!!!
Ok thanks...
Do I have to worry about it not picking up knock though since I had a LT4KM ?
Also, what is easier to tune? Wet or Dry? Which is more reliable on stock equipment, wet or dry?
