ok, A4, 200 HP shot, 383 what gears?

check the combo in my sig, car has 373 gears now, but needs new gears, unfortunatly cant wait till I get to the track to replace the gears. they are whining real bad and would rather not break them at the track.

neways, Im not sure what my rpm power band will be with that cam/displacment, and will get it dyno tuned eventually. the goal for the car is fast. driven to work on occasion, and I dont drive it with the intentions of saving gas. it has a fully forged bottom end, so I can spin it all the way up to 6900rpm if need be (or if it still makes power up there) but dont want to if its not goin to get the car any quicker. if I wasnt spraying the car, I would just go with the 4.10's, but I know the n20 makes it rev quicker. also as a side note, I have 15 x 10 rims with et streets, so traction isnt as hard to come by as it is for most.

thanks in advance.

What size tires are you using on the back? They'll affect your overall gearing. 3.73's might not be bad, but when you get on the juice and the engine screams to redline, you might find yourself wishing for 28" tires to make more use of the acceleration. I find they'll also help with MPH when you start dipping in to the 11's over "normal" 26' tall tires. But you do have the ability to rev that motor sky-high if you want, and you don't want it to shift all that much before you run out of power.

they are 26x11.5x15's. they are pretty new, and I dont want to buy diff. ones right now, but I do realize thats an option to get 27's or 28's if the 4.10 is too much. plus, dont those taller tires require trimming the bumper cover to fit?

Forget about the 4.10's. Not with a 200HP shot. Stick with the 3.73's
