Nozzle ripped intake boot

Well my car started running real crappy so i popped the hood today to take a look. And where i mounted my nitrous nozzle the boot started ripping around that. Is there anything i can put over the boot to help seal it up? And once i get a new boot how can i stop this from happening again?

Not sure what you could use to repair a tear in the rubber elbow, especially with the nozzle in place. How do you think it ripped, do you have the nut overtightened, or something else? Maybe the next time around, look into an aluminum aftermarket elbow like the Trickflow, that is what I am using. No problems with tears on that.

It's possible that I overtightened it but i didn't want the nut to just come off and possibly go into my engine. I'm not sure how it ripped unless my hood is pressing down on it some and overtime it tore that's all i can think of.

Thats possible to I guess, there isn't much clearnace there and if the AN lines or nozzle are too high, the hood will easily press down on it.

I would get a hard intake elbow and lose the rubber one all together. Plumb the N2O nozzle into the new elbow and you won't have to worry about it again.
