Hey guys, I tried searching but I couldn't really find anything so I thought I would post up. Those of you that have a Moroso CAI, did you mount your nozzle in your CAI before the MAF? I have an NX Wet kit and I think the guy that had the CAI before my plummed it for nitrous down by the radiator and I was wondering if I should use that hole, or do something different. I have the Shark Nozzle to go with it. Pics of ANY setup would be helpful.

If you are seriously thinking about putting the nozzle for a wet kit infront of the MAF you should have someone that knows what they are doing install the kit for you.

 

I guess that its a bad idea to put the nozzle in front of the MAF huh? Don't worry, I won't be doing the install myself. I don't know a whole lot about N2O so I will have someone else that does set it up for me. I'm just curious for my own personal edification at the moment.

 

Im pretty sure you mount the nozzle after the MAF before the TB..assuming its an LT1 wet kit. If im not mistaken you spray before the MAF for dry kits so it makes up for the fuel.....

I'm not sure what I was thinking... I talked to the guy that sold it to me and he reminded me that the hole in the CAI was for the relocation of the IAT lol. Either way, I'd still like to see pics of everyone's nozzle placement.

 

my nozzle is installed in the part where the long silencer is. using a cut off shampoo bottle bottom and a nut on the other end of hte nozzle to hold it in place, with some lok-tite just in case

 

Yeah, install it after the MAF, I have both of my nozzles plumbed into the air intake elbow.
