I've got a used NOS bottle opener and was wondering how it gets wired. Can you wire it straight to a 12v switch or do you need a relay in with it. And if a relay is needed, does anybody out there have it wired into their arming switch and relay? Thats how I would like to wire it so the bottle opens when I arm the system. And also, what is each individual wire on the opener (red, black, white). I'm assuming black is ground, red is 12v along with white to the switch. Thanks in advance.

Red is 12V to open, black is 12V to close, and white is the ground. You will need a mometary switch (like a power window switch) And you don't need a relay.
