Depends on how long you want your tranny to last you. 4L60E have a tendency to go down the tubes > 400 ft. lbs so you're asking for a rebuild if you spray through the gears.

Some people spray right through some people have it shut off a couple hundred RPM's before their shift. Completely up to you.

How big of a shot do you plan on running? You shouldn't spin after the shift since you're still putting your normal NA power to the ground during the shift....and I doubt you're going to be spraying a 200-300 shot.

Shouldn't harm your rear end.....unless you decide to spray from the hole with slicks. Then you're taking a chance. The great thing about auto's is we can preload the rear a bit by braking and bringing up the RPM's. Makes your launch less strenuous on the rear end.

You should be fine but you may want to limit the times you spray through shifts.

The clutches in my tranny are already shot so I'm going to a built TH400....my last dyno before headers, cam and rr's was at 376tq so I knew I have been pushing my luck on how long this transmission is going to last before a rebuild.

Go easy on it if you don't have the means to do a rebuild...but like I said, I wouldn't worry to much with that small of a shot.

It'll be tough to spin the tires with a 75 shot when shutting off for the gear change.I would recommend shutting it off when the car shifts.
I spray through shifts with a 4l60e,got about 5 months out of a 100% stock trans.
I had the 4l60e built, and went a season and it still shows no signs of wear. The trans is coming out and getting replaced with a th400,mainly cause the new combo will destroy the 4 spd.
