Nitrous and timing
I i have an Lt1 with a rebuilt 350 forged rods pistons, aftermarket crank. Also the GM847 cam with ported heads and larger valves. 30#lb injectors 255lph in tank pump and the zex 125 dry shot with colder plugs etc. There are few other misc options like LT headers the normal. Car right now has a tune just to pass emissions.
My question is with a basic tune just for motor if i wanted to plug in my nitrous and run it what kind of timing should i have taken? I have the mallory box and can do it with the push of the button.
I dont have the time to get a tune right now and im just looking for maybe 2 base runs with the nitrous.
When i had the stock motor with just LTs i pulled 4 degrees of timing and it worked well.
What kind of timing should i pull now and be farely safe for a few runs?
