Nitrous Oxide

How safe is it to run a 100 HP shot on a stock LT1? Is it worth it? How many people are running nitrous around here?

Yeah its safe to run a 100 shot on a stock LT1. Although it couldnt hurt to get a bigger fuel pump. That is what im gonna do real soon. I sprayed up to a 125 shot on mine and everything was fine except my car was all over the road and my tires were spinning like crazy. I'm only spraying a 75 shot at this time because i have 4.10 gears and running regular street tires. Getting the DR's for Christmas. And is it worth it, oh yeah, you'll love it!

An 100 shot should be fine. I run a 150-175 shot on a stock bottom-end.

i personally am afraid to run 100 shot with all the extras, safety stuff etc...however you should have no problems.....key word.."should" hehehe

who knows how a car is gonna respond to n20? every car is different, so u gotta take that chance...i cant wait for mine!

good luck!

100 shot all day long, thats a "*****" shot for the lt1. It gets hairy at 150 shots, then u need a bigger fuel pump cuz it starts to get lean from there. Good luck.

It is good size shot, and if for some odd reason you feel it is too much to start with you can get jets for 50 and 75 and move your way up to a 100 gradually. Good Luck.
