Question Nozzle Orientation

George,

Does it matter what the orientation of the NX Shark nozzles are mounted in? Looking at the nozzle I thought it would be best to mount it horizontally due to the angle cuts on the nozzle to allow for a better spray pattern into the throttle body. But I would really like to mount it vertically from underneath into the Fenco elbow between my MAF and TB, and I see that is the orientation that you have your nozzles mounted.

My intake was plumbed and flowed by Jeff Prock at Applied Nitrous Tech. Below is two pic's of a NOS Pro Race direct port annualar nozzle race kit on a LT4 intake.

First pic shows how the kit was custome bent up:

Second pic shows how we where able to use the NOS stainless annular nozzle, Special bungs where welded to the runners. This kit is setup to shot anywhere from 100hp to 500hp:

Take the guess work out of what jet pattern and or fuel pressure to run and have Applied flow your nitrous kit. Tellwhat power want toget out of your kit and he will give you jet pattern, fuel psi and timming.

Jeff Prock is the top nitrous tuner in the nation. You want to go fast with nitrous have Applied set ya up.

Good Luck!

lt1z28- im wondering whats the real difference between your fogger setup and the shark nozzle? you have it running through a rail to the each cylinder but it still distributes it to the first 2 cylinders first correct? or does it build pressure and deliver it evenly? im asking cause im fixing to install a nitrous setup and im not sure which way to go.thanks
