Need help shooting on a 236-242 110 cam

I'm going to be ordering a cam in the next few weeks and want the car to make good power all motor, since I generally won't be using nitrous. I know this cam isn't effective for nitrous since it won't build cylinder pressure very well, my question is what can I do to combat this. My question is this, I know the cam won't make as much power on the bottle for a given amount of nitrous when compared to a nitrous cam, however does this mean there is also less strain on the motor with the bigger cam? If so can would it be appropriate to use a larger shot with this cam, I'm looking for something equivalent to a 150 shot so I'm assuming a 175 would do it for me. Also what kind of fuel pump should i be running, will a walbro 255 sustain 550-600rwhp?

P.S. In the next month or two I will also be looking into a set of heads, as i understand it the amount of overlap the cam has will bleed of cylinder pressures allowing to run a higher static compression on pump gas. Will running a high compression shaved head help in regaining some efficiency lost by the cam? If so what kind of compression should I shoot for.
