Question n2o gauge on bottle valve?

Hi,

Simple question: Can I mount my NOS nitrous gauge onto a bottle equipped w/ a NOS Hi-Flo Valve? There's a port for the safety blow-down valve, can I just unscrew it and replace it with the gauge? As far as I know, the gauge has an 1/8 NPT fitting...

Thanks!

P.S: I've seen the NOS Super Hi-Flo valve with the extra port for the pressure gauge, but I'd like to stay with the stock unit if it's possible.

Maybe I don't understand what you want to do, but I would not get rid of the the safety blow off cap if thats what you are planning to do. Have you ever seen pictures of what happens when a N2O bottle blows up? Its like a bomb going off. It looks like the car was opened with a can opener. The bottle can not blow up if you have a working blow off cap in place.

Yes, I know it'd be dangerous.
I just wanted to know if it has the same thread as the n2o pressure gauge..
So, anyone?
