N20 On Stock Bottom ???

How many of you guys are spraying on the stock bottom? It seems like LT1's can take a decent amount of spray reliably if the kit was installed rite. What shot are you spraying? ( Poll )Any problems caused from spraying?

A buddy of mine and I sprayed a 100 shot for awhile. When we took apart the motor to do cam swaps, there wasn't a pit or ding in any of the pistons.

If you do it the right (check your spelling ) way and use all the safety things, a 100-150 is do-able. i'd stay on the lower end towards 100. But do headers and all the other bolt ons FIRST. Dont use n20 as a cheap way to get fast, like the majority of people do when they dont have other needed mods done first.

i sprayed a 150 for well over a year and a half. then 175 for another 6 months.

Just recently pulled it apart and NO problems at all.

just make sure the tune up is spot on and the fuel/ignition systems are up to snuff.

i did 150 on mine for a couple of years then pulled it apart NO problems and made the the internals forged and got a better cam.
150 will be fine but most people run better ad fast times with a 100 shot so bigger isnt always better.

150 Shot with a new in-tank fuel pump should be fine.

Start low like 75 and work your way up when you feel comfortable. With good fuel and spark 150 is safe.

I ran a 150 NX shot on my car for a while with no problems.
Just bought a TNT kit and plan on running 100 for a while then going to a 150 shot. Possibly 200 at the end of the year.

I would get the new fuel pump before adding the nitrous though. Might not be necessary but I would rather play it safe.

Know someone who put 200 shot on stock everything. ran the engine from 50K to 150K with no probs on the stock engine. Took the engine out to replace with four block main he had been building. the stock engine still ran awesome even after 100K with 200 shot runnnin through it.

Just make sure you don't run lean!

Two of my friends have ran a 200 shot on a stock bottom end. Both ran without any problems.

I am going to be playing it safe with my n2o setup. I am going to install a new fuel pump, 30# injector, and a window switch when the kit is installed.
