MSD window switch questions

im installing the nitrousworks lt-1 tb plate system.
i have all the plumbing done now it's just wiring.

i'm trying to install a window switch. i have an MSD rpm activated window switch pn 8956. picture of the switch i'm trying to hook it up to my 95 camaro z28. problem is, it has a 2 connector coil on it. the instructions say to get my tach signal (the white wire on the switch) from the negitive terminal from the coil. except where is it? the coil has two connectors. the grey one has 2 wires from it, and the other one is black that has a single pink wire coming from it.

which one is the NEG?

also how exactly can i wire into it?

are there any other places to get this signal from and use it for my window switch?

HELP

Re: MSD window switch questions

Check out Shoebox's wedsite in his sig. He's has a wiring diagram that will help you out. Buy my dad has a 95 t/a that we put a shift light in it, and there is a white wire for the tach. I would suggest looking at the whole harness and following, theres a white wire there.

Re: MSD window switch questions

pink is hot dont hook it to pink.grey or off white is tach(skinnier wire) if i remember correctly last time i hooked up a msd switch i just hooked it to the neg side of the coil. I first hooked it to the tach wire but then the tach wont work so just hook it to neg on coil.
