MSD window switch?

This is an add for the switch-This RPM Activated Switch enables you to activate and then deactivate a circuit at adjustable rpm points. This is a great feature for engines using nitrous systems so the nitrous can be turned off just before the high rev limit of the engine. The Switch will provide a ground to activate a circuit and can handle up to 1.5 amps. The rpm levels are easy to adjust with the same plug-in modules used with other MSD rpm controls. It can be used on stock inductive ignitions as well as high performance capacitive discharge controls. You will need to send this product into MSD so they can modify it to be used on a LS1.

To all the people useing this... Did you really have to send it in to MSD? Is there any other window switches that are easyer to install? and is ther any sites that explain the wireing for this? Sorry for all the questions im new, Thanks for any replys. Alex

I bought my window switch and wired it right in. The wiring of it is simple, but im not sure how/where you'd get the tach/rpm signal from on an LS1 engine. On my 5.0 Mustang, it splices into the negative side of the ignition coil. You dont wire it dirtectly to ter nitrous solenoids, you wire it into the ground side of the relay.
