mild 454....is N2O wise?

I've build a mild 454 using stock peanut port heads, Edelbrock Performer intake, performer camshaft, and 750 performer carb, 2" primary hooker headers. I also have a holley mechanical fuelpump

I want more....

Is nitrious right for my motor??? What modifications need to be made to make use of nitrious?

Lot's of people spraying big blocks. Even the OEM rotating parts are generally pretty stout, depending on the precise engine. So I'd say you should be fine if you stick to a smallish (~150hp) shot, run colder plugs, and take out some timing when running nitrous. Depending on your CR, you may also need to run race gas when spraying. That's not a bad idea in any case.
