No that was without the cam. Best with the cam and bottle right now is 12.6@113mph. But I also lost the trans on that run, so it was slipping bad. Thats why I'm working on a TH350 swap right now.

 

Yeah that is kinda what i am worried about, i am not worried about motor, with a wet 50shot i will be fine, the 3.73's will be fine after i install them, i am worried about the tranny. I am not sure if it will handle it. I mean it still has 127,XXXmiles on it, but it was a middle age ladies car i do have that goin for me, and that the miles are highway. What do you think, has all fresh fluids?

ps-how much u puttin in ur tranny?

 

I think the only reason my tranny went was because it had 105,000 miles on it and I tried spraying through the shifts. It lasted for a while until I also added the cam then it was just to much torque. I think if you ran a smaller shot and a window switch you would be fine. I'm goig to be building the TH350 myself so I know its done right and with good parts. I can't wait to see what see runs at the track. Mid 11's here I come!

 

yeah am buddy of mine who has a 2000 trans am is haven it sent out to have a 383 stroker done, but right now its had 524hp to the rear with a vortech blower and some N20 but its got a cam and port and polish with all the goodies. But he is haven it sent out the 17th i talked to him today and is haven the 383 done with a smaller blower pulley and more nitrous nd he hopes to have around 700hp or so to the rear. Dont know if u have seen it at hall or not, black convertible ws6 with boyd coddington 18's and gold stripes to look like a 79 bandit car?If not were all planning to go down to muncie when his is done. I hope to have my nitrous on by then. Can i run a window switch with stock ignition?
