Looking For Pics Of LT1 Direct Port Installs

I am looking for pics of LT-1 or LT-4 intakes that have been plumbed for Direct Port systems.

I would prefer pics with the intake off the car, but beggars can't be choosers.

Thanks In Advance.

Thanks for the pic. They built my engine, and I have seen that pic before.

Any others?

Darren had a close up pic but I can no longer find it on his site. I used to have a TON of direct port pix saved on my old computer. Then I traded my kit, and pretty much forgot about them.

Good luck...

What was the ignition concept on the first two pics in the previous post?

Dean is using a Speed Pro/FAST EFI system with eDist box for Individual LS1 coils for each cylinder. Pretty trick, but not really for the average Joe.

Nick, I'll email ya when I get off work tonite.

Only the link of Daren's car worked for me, and I have seen plenty of that car. Thank you regardless.

I will look for your e-mail KTamez.

Nick,

Mine has the double rails and so wil be slightly different, although you can look a the placement of the nozzles in one of the shots.

Thanks Kurtis

The system I have has 4 distribution blocks as opposed to rails, and 4 solenoids. In the few installs I have seen done this way, 2 blocks and 2 solenoids are put on each side.

It would appear that the solenoid taps into the bottom of the distribution block via a double ended threaded connector. I am picking the intakeup next week and then I am going to get the nozzles installed and lines from the nozzles to the distributions blocks.

Did you have your fuel rail handy to make sure that you were still going to clear everything?

Nick,

When I had mine plumbed they used a set of fuel rails also to make sure of the clearances. Heres the finished product.

Sounds like you've got a grasp on how it goes together though.
