Looking for a Nitrous Kit, But I'm a Newb to N20
I have a mostly stock engine, besides what's listed in my signature, so would it be best to go with a wet or dry kit?
I've heard of some kits being "upgradeable", how do these work?
Links to some kits for LT1's would be highly appreciated.

Check out the link in my signature, they are a great company to deal with. As for the "upgradeable" aspect, there are alot of accessories that can be included in your setup. I bought the NX kit from Nitro Dave and it basically contained the wiring, the bottle, the plumbing, and the bottle. I added a Mallory 685 ignition box, a 860 spare tire well mounting plate, the GEN-X2 upgrade which included the fuel pressure safety switch and purge valve, and a Jimmy Jams ashtray switch panel. Now that all of that is done, I'm actually thinking about pulling it all out, sending my spare intake manifold to Nitro Dave, and having him set it up for a direct port. (I'll be PMing you soon Dave.
) You might also want to refer to the sticky that is on the forum page, it will give you some good ideas on the safety devices needed to safely and consistently spray.

Some kits have certain flow limits, "upgrades" remove those limits.
As you have seen there are many options out there, if you could let me know what your plans are for your car, both now and in the future, I can help pick the kit that best suits your needs.
Generally, the dry kits for the LT1 don't spray before the MAF anyway. They have a nozzle that goes after the MAF in the elbow and use some sort of vacuum signal to "trick" the fuel pressure regulator into spiking the pressure and providing the necessary extra fuel.
