Limit of the stock fuel pump

As the title says what's the limit? I'm looking at running at most a 150 shot through a plate on the Trans Am listed in my sig.(all other saftey steps included) Am I flirting with disaster buy not installing one immeadieatly or can I hold off for a little while?

100 shot will be safe with a good running stock pump. 150 shot kinda pushes the safe mark. Yes guys do run with a 150 shot on stock pumps with no problems/ but some only get to do it once

This is what I'm looking at:
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...roduct_id=2794

I'll probably get it and make a few 100shot passes before the track closes and bump up to 125/150 next season and get a pump between now and then. It's not worth the risk to me right now. Thanks for the input.

the LS1 fuel system will generally support around 450whp...some have gotten more and a few have gotten less.

I actually talked to Dave through pm on LS1tech and he said I'd need the pump for that big a hit. That was the whole reson of me asking. Right now with my et and weight I'm guessing I'm at the 300-310 rwhp area. Will a 100 hit net me 100 at the ground? I know it's a guessing game with many factors but what's the rule of thumb?

Your answer has been given two times already. But just to clear it up rule of thumb is anything over a 100 shot get a better fuel pump.(Yes there are people who do run more on a stock pump)

Better safe then sorry, is the rule of thumb. Its not cheap, but buy a better fuel pump.

No need for attitude, it's a different question. Will a 100 shot net me 100rwhp. I've moved on from the fuel pump. Maybe I wasn't very clear when I asked that.

Most I've seen is a 175, personally, I prefer a pump for anything over 100
