LE2 + how much nitrous = safe!

So I recently picked up a 96 WS6 Formula with the LE2 package on it. The car is a M6 with 4.10's in the factory 10 bolt .

I had a Nitrous Works Plate kit on the other bird and am going to put it on this bird now.

How much nitrous would be SAFE to run without having to worry about the motor going bye bye? (This spring I'm doing a forged bottom end to handle a 200 shot)

And yes, I will not be spraying it off the line, I want to try and save my rear as long as I can.

I would suggest a simple compression and leak down tests be run before installing nitrous system. This will verify that your motor is healthy enough for the extra cylinder pressure nitrous is going to produce.

You will also need a way of retarding the timing since the car should have an aftermarket tune. On the Nitrous Works plate I would keep it under 150hp. Run good fuel and a colder plug.

After getting the kit installed, please, verify air fuel ratio with a wideband. And I suggest pulling each plug after a pull to check individual cylinder distribution.

Here is a link on reading plugs...

Yeah I am going to do a compression test and whatnot.

I was just wondering if the stock bottom end would handle the 150 shot on top of the 403 RWHP the car already puts down!!!???

I don't have the HP you do, but I'm giving it (nitrous) a go. Dyno'd 468rwhp on a very safe tune. The NA graph showed 353rwhp this time. Seems the new Yank lowered that a little. Always had 10 or more HP with the smaller Vig.
Trying to sneek up on a high ten, but if something goes wrong, I won't be shocked.
