LE2 383 and Nitrous...
LE2 383 and Nitrous...
37lbs injectors and stock fuel pump... still undecided with what to go with. Any suggestions?
Its a Callies rotating assembly... How big of a shot would you guys go with?
I was told that you need to upgrade the fuel lines if you want to go anything bigger then a 175 shot? I was thinking a 200 shot at most because I HEARD this rotating assembly can handle a 300-350 shot
So I figured a 200 shot would be a walk in the park with this bottom end and a good tune. What do you guys think?

Almost all forged pistons will easily handle a 200 shot.As far as a fuel system you should look into a race tronix set up.You are deffintly going to need the fuel.Or you could look into our dedicated fuel systems.I suggest the NX single nozzle kit or the NX maff kit.Top quality systems backed by a company that will still be around if you need warrenty or help.

Re: LE2 383 and Nitrous...
so what about his question of upgrading the feed line? I too have a 383 and plan on running 200 shot. I already have the walbro pump, but is the stock fuel line sufficient to deliver enough fuel for a 383 and 200 hp n20?

Callies makes more than one crankshaft. I have the Stealth, which I think they renamed as the "RaceMaster", Oliver billet rods and BME nitrous pistons. Spraying a 300-shot.
Were your pistons selected based on a nitrous application? Were the rings gapped for nitrous?
As far as the fuel system, you obviously need a larger pump(s)... I run a pair of 205LPH Bosch pumps. The stock fuel lines are good for very high HP.... I run a -6AN supply line for a total of 800HP at a BSFC of 0.53. The -6AN is pretty much the same ID as the stock lines. I also run a -6AN return line.
