The 5176 (NOS brand) kit is a non-adjustable kit that comes with a #67 jet in the needle and a #42 jet in the brass tee to the FPR.The instructions say that it will flow up to 130 hp.

Two of you have dissagreed with me I see.
I owned a 97 TA a few years ago and purchased the kit for it.I considered changing the jets to go a little faster , but after contacting Holley-NOS they told me that the kit only comes with the #67 jet and it was not meant to be increased passed that point.Yes I know its a Dry kit , but its a different type of dry kit.The LS1 dry kit sprays a single or double jet into the airbox and can be adjustable because the maf sensor adds the fuel. The LT1 dry kit does not spray through the sensor , but utilizes the Fuel pressure regulator to increase fuel.My only dissagreement with you guys is that I purchased this kit new and it plainly states in the instructions that it flows up to 130 hp and the only jets with the kit are for a desired hp shot by nos.
Now if you are saying its adjustable because you modified the kit or bought extra jets then maybe so.
Also while typing this I called up a tech at NOS and was told that they do not reccomend exceeding the jets included in the kit....thus making it non-adjustable.
Oneflyin95Z or Frans how many jets came with your kit when purchased new?

Mikie is right the kit only comes with one jet setting. Which is 67 nitrous and 59 in the bypass. The instructions call that a 130hp but it is really closer to 150hp. While the kit can be jetted lower it will usually run rich. On the lt1s when the nitrous regulator send the pressure signal over to the fuel pressure regulator the pressure spikes to 85psi. It is hard to get it to go much lower than that. Where as other cars like 5.0 Mustangs would only go to 65-70psi with the same set up. So on the lt1's they have more fuel than other cars which is why when you try and go lower on the jetting they will tend to run rich. You could try putting a biger bypass jet in the tee but that would only lower the pressure 1-2 psi which wouldn't be a big enough change to really make a diffrence. Once again this is not to say it can't be jetted lower or higher just that in stock form the system supplys enough fuel for 150hp. If you really wanted to you could make changes to the set up to allow it to go up or down but as the kit ships it is a 150hp kit.

Go to www.nosnitrous.com
The 5176 Kit does not come with various jets from 50-150.
That pretty well explains it all if the fact is that you bought your kit used instead of new.
When you click on the link please investigate by emailing the techs or calling and asking them for yourself.
Please dont take my word for it.....ask the makers of the kit.

The 5176 kit has gone through several variations over its life.

I had one of the first 5176 kits that NOS sold, back in late 1994. It was not adjuatable, and in fact had NO jet in the tee to the FPR. That jet/tee was only added later on. Then they decided to make it "adjustable" (75-150HP), and I called them and ordered the parts to convert mine to "adjustable". That was maybe in 1999.

My original kit (1994 version) said it was good for 125HP and 190ft-lb, with the .067 jet. They changed those numbers a little in later versions of the manual. A complete kit should have a jet for both the nitrous fan-jet nozzle and a corresponding jet for the fuel line "tee", for each HP level.

The 5176 has never been adjustable from the factory and it has always come with a vaccum tee and a fuel pump.

OK for the guys on the short bus.

WHEN the kit came out it was not adjustable. As stated later it was made adjustable. It still is. Want to know what happen? Holley bought out NOS and lost all the people who knew anything about the kit. I spent a good amount of time looking for info on this kit and found one guy who REALLY knew how to use it.

He now works for Ramcharger(one of the sponcers here).

He has been very helpfull in my jetting. I have jetting from 40-250 with instructions on how to get from point "A" to point "B"

One thing most will not like is you have to use your brain when tuning it. I have a few known combos but all should be dialed in on a dyno for safety...as should any N2O kit.

Some of you guys kill me. You believe what ever is fed to you
