Intercooler sprayer questions
Intercooler sprayer questions
I'm planning on running either an n2o or co2 intercooler sprayer in the near future but I'm not entirely sure how they spray, are they either "on" or "off" by way of a switch? Or can I rig it to only spray above say 5lbs of boost so i can forget about it?
BTW this will be on a procharged car.
ALSO, is there any significant cooling difference between spraying co2 or n2o? Obviously co2 is very attractive due to being MUCH cheaper than nitrous, but if the n2o is worth the extra cash I'll gladly shell it out.

You can get a intercooler set up for nitrous or Co2. I would go with CO2. The only thing that is different in the bottle valve. The Co2 will cool it just as well and be a portion of the cost when refilling.
They use a Solenoid that activates at wide open throttle. You can use a boost pressure switch so that it does not work untill you hit the 5lbs of boost.

NOS and NX offers them. We carry both. I have installed many NX ones but I have never installed the NOS one.
