Sure, spray it .....I've had the bottle on mine since Aug of 98 from back when my motor was bone stock, and now with quite a few mods running in the 10's.....never a problem......Also consider www.harrisspeedworks.com for your nitrous kit... Very high quality , and good customer service to boot.......A Window switch (like you mentioned is a good idea to get, although "MUCH" more important on a 6 speed car), Purge kit is good as well....A step(or so) colder plugs are cheap insurance as well(I prefer the Autolite 103's)....also, don't forget a fuel pressure safety switch (FPSS)....this will not let your nitrous solenoids operate(open) if your fuel pressure ever drops below the preset pressure level (that you set it it)...Also, a MUCH better than stock ignition like one of the Mallory 685's or an MSD Digital 6 is also a real good thing to have when running nitrous....Both of these ignition boxes have good "spark dropping" rev limiters, and a timing retard function so you can "easily" pull out the chosen amount of timing while using the nitrous....the mallory unit even has a window switch included inside......another good safety feature is to have your factory PCM's "fuel cutting" revlimiter raised WAY up out of the way if you haven't already(7200 is a good place to set it at)..........good luck with it........PS: Horse Power levels up to about a 125 "Rear Wheel" HP shot will be perfectly reliable with all the safety features mentioned.........Joe

With just a CAI and a converter on a NX wet 100 shot my car went the times in my sig... and as long as you have a good fuel pump you'll be fine, I sprayed mine with a NX wet 150 shot all day long. The car probably had atleast 80lbs of nitrous run threw it a month (at a minimum) for a good while there.

I spray a 100 on mine with no probs, and am upping it to a 125. I am running all safety features. Fuel pressure safety switch, TR6 plugs, Mallory 685 box with my window switch set at 3200 rpm and turning off at 5500, shifting at 5700, and rev limiter set at 6000. I am pulling 5 degrees of timing with it. A 100 shot is perfectly reliable if done right. Not detonating is the key. Trust me, a 100 shot is a LOT more noticeable than a 75.

I'd go for it. As for the kit itself, I would spend a little more and go with a kit from HSW, Nitrous Outlet, or NX where you know you are going to get some good quality solenoids. You can safely spray a 100-125 shot easily, but don't neglect the safety gear as noted. Also, there is a sticky in the nitrous forum going over all the safety gear.

this man/woman should have their f-body taken away immediately

j/p

but yeah... spray..spray now....what are you waiting for, why aren't you spraying already?

Your link shows you are looking at the dynotune kit. I have one of their digital window/tps switches.... They seems pretty good. Dynotune is more active over at www.ls1tech.com though. They usually give away free airbrushed bottles i believe.

harris speed works is just as good. Their solenoids come with a lifetime warranty.

100/125: shot to be safe
150/175: if you want a lot of bang for your buck, but expect the worst
>175: pill it till you kill it!

I have that kit spraying a 150 shot last year. Going bigger this year. Spray it!!!!!!!!!! That kit is nice the only thing is you may want to upgrade to the bigger soleniods. Those are maxing out at 150. His 150 jet is only 125 to the tires. I jumped from dynotunes 57 nitrous jet up to a 63.

I spray my 130K mile car all the time with a NX 150 shot. Never had one problem. Sometimes a bottle a week.

Mine is holding up decently, hopefully it will stay alive for a few more months. I am runnin a 125 shot on it. I plan on getting a Mcleod single disc after this one gives out.

Well dang 69gto96Z your giving me some hope. I'm finishing up my nitrous install and i'm starting out with a 75 because I have a stock clutch also. however it does only have about 8000 miles on it but i wasent sure if it'd hold. So now i have a little more hope that it may work.
I'm going to stay with a 75 till I can afford a new clutch though.
Now i'm even more excited to get it finished lol

a 75 shot is not worth mesing with IMO

I ran a 200 shot on a stock shortblock for almost 2 years

for the price you cant beat dynotunes kits they work very well

I have run about five 15# bottles through my NX setup, on my 110-115k mi engine, with no problems.

I got fuel pressure drop with 150hp shot, and occasionally with 125hp, but not with 100hp. This was with a stock fuel pump.

I have since upgraded my fuel pump to 255lph Walbro, and also put in a bigger cam designed to work well with nitrous (114LSA). Haven't sprayed it yet since, but am planning on starting with 100hp and working up from there... maybe even up to 200hp. We'll see what happens.

Definitely go for it on the stock block if you don't go above 100hp with the stock pump. Not worth risking a FP drop and boom.
