Ineff. distribution w/ plate and 2x dry combo?

If I place the 2 dry nozzles just behind the tb mounting plate angled just slightly towards the runners jetted at 200+- and run an additional nx plate jetted at 175+- do you think I will have issues w/ uneven distribution? Derek

any type of actual nozzle behind the throttlebody will cause uneven distribution regardless of how you point it, what kind of bottomend do you have to support this nitrous output, how do you plan on using a dry kit past the MAF how do you plan on the motor adjusting correctly to add fuel?

any kit you add like this would be a wet kit and to my knowledge other then a direct port setup ive yet to see anything that would come close to matching what you want.

the LT1 dry kits spike the fuel pressure for the fuel enrichment, so the nozzle do go behind the MAF.

for the amount of nitrous you are looking to run I would highly suggest running a DP.

Correct. The thing is that I am trying to hide the dry system. I have plenty of fuel system to support both systems as well as the engine. As of right now I already have all of the components including all of the necessary safety components, ie WS,FP Shut-off, etc. Right now funds to do a DP are a little low, however I am planning to do so in the future. The bottom end consists of a 355" fully forged 6" rod bottom end with custom alloy diamond nitrous pistons, half filled block, milodon 4 bolt splayed caps, o- ringed, studded, etc. Thanks for the input guys.

I understand what your trying to do, but the whole behind the tb mounting plate is where im getting confused how exactly do you plan on controlling the fuel to the motor without the nozzle being before the MAF to let it adjust the fuel to the motor?

The LT1 dry kits do not spray through the MAF....they use a device that uses the nitrous flow to pull vaccuum on the fuel pressure regulator. This increases fuel pressure and therefore fuel supply through the injector for a given duty cycle.

The problem with placing a nozzle behind the TB is there is not enough room for the mixture to fully atomize before being pulled into a cylinder.

a nozzle is designed to be placed 4-6" away from the first intake runner.

Thanks for the info i take back my statments lol, i guess im used to the cheap side of the dry nitrous setups.

as for hidden setups i have however seen some setups with a nozzle mounted on the underneath of the intake elbow.

I have used the intake elbow previously on another car, but thats just not good enough for me now as I will be much much faster. Nitro-dave what do you think I should do as far as spraying the nozzle. Would spraying the nozzles at 90* angles towards each other provide even distribution?

are you using a LTx style manifold or a carb style Single plane....??

The reason I ask is NX doesn't have a plate for the LTx manifold

If you are using an Elboe and a single plane, you should be fine mountin the nozzles behind the TB....a standard 90 would work fine.

For a LTx manifold I would suggest not putting the nozzle behind the TB....to risky in my opinion. PM sent for another option. 8)
