Post Which ignition should I get for N20?

Alright, I'm gonna stick a 100 shot on my car, and I was wondering if I needed to get a new ignition, and which I should get. I was looking at a MSD 6AL. Any suggestions?

I have the MSD 6A running the times in the sig. All of my friends run either the MSD 6A or 6AL.

MSD Digital 6+. JMO. Has Built-In Nitrous Retard.

One plus is its not a Mallory.

Never had good luck with a Mallory part......

Wow, really split opinions Well, I can't find any really good info on the Mallory. Any advice? The digital 6 is looking mighty tempting

I use the 6AL and it's been working really good for me. It has most of everything you need and you can pick up a Super HEI kit from Nextgenparts.com with the 6AL for about $300.

You're forgetting the Mallory also has a window switch and a staging rev limiter...

a recent article showed that the accel 300+ was up a few HP on the others . .. but my 300+ box croaked . . . think it maybe a little more fragile . . . running an msd 6al in my 68 Z . . . but I know a few people who've had them crap out too
