HOW DO I KEEP THE TORQUE CONVERTOR FROM LOCKING UP IN 3RD GEAR AT WIDE OPEN THROTTLE?
I HAVE A 93 FORMULA WITH A 4L60 TRANNY. IN 3RD GEAR AT WOT IT LOCKS UP THE TORQUE CONVERTER AND LUGS THE MOTOR SLIGHTLY LOSING RPM AND MPH. IS THEIR ANY ONE THAT MAKES A HARNESS OR SOMETHING TO MAKE IT ONLY LOCK UP IN 4TH GEAR ON A 4L60? ON ENGINE IT DOESN'T ALWAYS DO IT, BUT ON NITROUS IT DOES IT EVERY TIME. IT PULLS UP TO 7 DEGREES TIMING WHEN THE TCC LOCKS UP. NEED HELP!

A couple of suggestions.....
-Do not double post. If you accidentally double post, go to one of the posts, click on the "Edit" icon, and click "delete" in upper left hand corner of edit screen.
-Preferable to not us "caps lock". As you can see from your "topics" on the list of topics, and from the width of the screen on your messages, it makes things too wide and too unwieldy. Use of upper and lower case characters is preferred for readability.

On third gens...you can jump the ALDL to not lock your converter....Pretty sure Fourth gens can too!!

So they made him get rid of it...For decency ya know....But it came back the next day...
