Ignition ?s

I have a 93 z28 that has a chip made for hp runs, I put on a 150 shot and now after it gets into 2nd it surges, can this be to much timing? I know I have to retard the timing...If I put in a Mallory 685 can I use that for my nos set up? Its a stock lt1 with a chip, cold air,and a cut out. It does 13.0 on hp and 11.93@110 on spray pulling the left front I'm sure it would do 11.60s if it was'nt surging. I have tr6's @ 35 gap and they still look brand new after the runs also bottle pressure was at 950. PLEASE HELP...

sarcasm, wins every time

this forum has been slow for a while
I use a 685 for my nitrous, it comes in at 3000 and shuts off at 6000 rpm
the main use of the 685 is to retard my timing @ 2 * for every 50 hp of spray try this

and check your fuel pressure,. what kind of kit do you have dry or wet?
when I had a dry kit on old injectors it seemed to surge, now with a wet kit when you mash the button smiles erupt
