If the car is misfiring and I spray=bad??

I've had the kit in the car for almost a year now and have yet to spray it, long story. I finally got everything running right, but the car has a weird stumble type miss but it is intermitent, not even sure if it is a miss, doesn't feel like any secondary ignition miss I've ever felt or had. I'm dying to hit the 75 shot, but I'm a bit worried that if the hesitation decides to occur while I'm spraying I may damage something. ANy ideas??

Dont spray it untill you can figure out the ignition gremlins its not worth taking the chance. All it takes is one good backfire to put an end to the lt1

Could be an Opti spark going south. I'd replace that along with the plugs and wires. Its still cheaper than a new motor

all the ignition stuff is brand new. I've already swapped 2 sets of wires and plugs. It doesn't feel like a secondary ignition miss and it is very intermitent. I've burned many plug wires and boots on this car and it doesn't feel like that at all. It is a really weird problem. Think I'll make a post about it in the LT1 tech section. Consenus is don't spray until the car feels like it used to?

Aaron on the Impala forum we have found that the lead wires from the ignition box to the coil can pickup RFI and cause this!
You need to shield the wires from the box to the coil with shielded tape and ground at both ends.
I'm doing the same today after new oil pan goes on and posi install is finished at GearHead Garage.

Could you please colaborate on this a little? ignition box as in aftermarket msd or something like that? Or the ignition module assembly the coil is attached to? I am a little confused. Also, what is shielded tape?
