Hello I have a 94 camaro lt1. I bought the zex nitrous system. I currently have a hypertech programmer set-up in my car. Could I use the nitrous with my programmer. I was wondering because I read somewhere nitrous systems will cause damage to the engine with a programmer like Hypertech. Just wondering if anybody knew???

 

if the hypercrap advances timing over stock and leans out the mixture, I'd program your computer back to stock. I would think it does, I'm not sure though I don't know their advance/fuel tables, I don't think anyone does including them. Their tuning on the lt1 cars is pure crap though, don't use their "power tuning" total waste. I called them once about it they couldn't give me any information on the specs of their tuning program because the guy who originally programmed it isn't there. What a bunch of doofs. I have had their tuning installed and had no gain, actually a loss. Also, many people have dynoed no gain or a small loss of rwhp with their supposed "power" tuning installed.

If you want REAL programming, have one of the custom tuners do it or a dyno tune.
