how much nitrous could i use on a stock LS1 motor

Hey I want to take my camaro to another step an planning to use nitrous I want to know how much nitrous could i use but I don't want to blow a piston do they got a nitrous plate for the ls1 well is a stock ls1 with ported heads an cam stock intake stock trottle body automatic thanks..

A heads/cam car is hard enough on the bottom end. I wouldn't spray ANY more than 100 shot on a heads/cam car. Sure others have done it ... but if you want it to last ... shoot a baby shot at the motor, and be sure you pull timing.

And youd be wise to run all the safety equipment - WOT switch, fuel pressure safety switch, timing retard, etc.

Iv know guys spray 125-150 with proper amount of timing retard. And wot switch. To me its all in the proper setup

The LS1 seems to be able to handle a decent shot. Buddy of mine sprayed 125-150 on a heads/cam 99 SS, stock bottom end. Ran 10's. He did have an upgraded fuel system. Trans and rear end gave out, but not the engine. 5K clutch dumps will do that.
