How many 1/4 mile runs can I get out of a full 15lb bottle of n2o?

 

100hp/10sec uses ~1lb. But you can't get 15lbs out of a 15lb bottle.

Past experience:

150 shot...mid-high 12 second runs, 2 SOLID runs and a third half assed low pressure run usually

100 shot and low 13's was getting about 3-4 good passes.

Finding a CHEAP source to fill the bottle is key once you figure out how much ya spend on every pass. hahaha

 

i am hoping to get one good run with this 78 N2O NX jet i have in there now.....lol

 

Yor only getting 2.5 runs out of your bottle? I can get 5 solid runs sometimes six out of mine and im running 175 shot,pressure never drops below 925psi.I am heating the bottle with a warmer though.

 

second from what friends are doing, off a 10# and 100 shots though

 

with my bolt on motor and with a 150 shot, I would get 3 11 sec runs with a warmer, but at the end of the 3rd would be a pressure drop. i am now setup with a 78 N2O jet, so I am hoping to get more than one run without a pressure drop on a second. 2 runs would be absolutely perfect.

 

HOLLY **** that is a big jet for 150.....im running a .48 jet un mine.

 

the 78 jet is for 200-250 somewhere in there.

i got 4-5 low 11 sec runs from a 10lb bottle with my 150 before pressure dropped.
I was getting 3-4 from a 10lb bottle on the 175.
yes i do use a heater AND a bottle blanket.

 

4-5 passes on a 150 .. Nitrous works plate....11.0x@125

So is there anyway to add additional bottles to a single system? like for instance 3 15lb bottles??
