How long for bottle to warm up?

I'm new to nitrous and went out to run it for the first time. When I turned the bottle on, the pressure was at about 800 psi, when I turn my bottle warmer on, how long should it take to warm up to about 1000 psi? Also when I turn the system and bottle off and park the car, the gauge(mounted on the pillar in the car) obviously still shows pressure in the system. Anything I should do about this or just let it sit like that?

getting the bottle pressure up with the heater depends on a couple things , how full is the bottle, temp outside ,ect.......it usually takes my heater(NOS) like 10 mins or so..........as far as pressure in the system ,you could install a purge and with the bottle valve closed just hit the purge to release the pressure........

Very funny

My bottle heater will sometimes take 20 minutes to heat the bottle and that is with it 3/4+ full (to go from 650-950psi). I think a lot of it depends on the wire you used. If you used a good thick 10 gauge wire to feed the voltage to your heater it will function more efficient than if you use something like a 16-18 gauge wire. I think mine is wired with 14g and would be better off with at least 12g. As previously stated also, the amount of nitrous in the bottle has a direct correlation to the amount of time it takes to increase the pressure as well. Of course, how cold the bottle is to start with will make a difference too.
